Strengths & Weaknesses:
Bennett is friendly. Bennett is someone who deeply values the company of others and hopes to make friends wherever he goes. He's absolutely fearless when it comes to approaching others and has managed to befriend some genuinely strange people - like a dramatic girl that claims to be a goddess from another world, or a solemn teenage boy that was literally raised by wolves. He's a earnest, sincere person that genuinely cares about the people around him, even when they're strangers.
Bennett is resilient. Bennett has been through some genuinely rough things in his life. Being abandoned at birth, being abandoned by his friends, being abandoned by the very concept of good fortune. He's suffered injuries so frequently that it baffles healers, had countless adventures end in failure, and fallen into every single trap and down every cliff he's ever encountered. Giving up would be perfectly reasonable, and yet Bennett continues to pick himself up both emotionally and physically. He's always ready for another adventure and another attempted friendship, and he never delays when it's time to set off for one.
Bennett is optimistic. Which is probably unsurprising, given the above information. Bennett can see the good in nearly any situation and always does his best to find a way forward. No matter how horribly he fails at something, or how badly he's injured in the process, he's always willing to try again. He maintains his bright, friendly disposition because while he knows there's plenty of danger and many bad actors to be found throughout Teyvat, he ultimately he sees the world as a good place full of good people. He's certain that he'll be able to make more friends and find a place for himself so long as he keeps searching.
Bennett is reckless. Part of this is just because of his atrocious bad luck, and part of this is just how he is. Bennett throws himself into dangerous situations without hesitating, often going off half-cocked in the name of seeking adventure and helping his friends. He has a dangerously careless fighting style, and he's grown so used to pain other people often wonder if he can feel it at all. He says outright that he enjoys the adrenaline rush that comes from being in life-threatening situations and he never hesitates to volunteer for dangerous jobs.
Bennett is lonely. The thing about being absurdly, devastatingly unlucky is that it doesn't just make your own life hard, it makes life hard for everyone else around you as well. The unfortunate fact of the matter is that being around Bennett can be flat out dangerous Despite his optimistic, outgoing, and caring personality he has few friends. The friends he does make tend to abandon him quickly when they realize how badly situations tend to go when he's around. Though he smiles and says he understands, the truth is that Bennett desperately wishes for this to change.
Bennett is accepting. Despite his cheer, despite his optimism, despite his stubborn insistence on pressing onward no matter what, Bennett knows exactly what sort of life he leads. He knows his friends will probably abandon them, and he even thinks it's fair of them to do so. He knows his adventures will always end with injuries, or worse. While he doesn't believe he should seek death out, he eventually comes to think that it would be very fortunate if he were to die on an adventure that would have his friends toasting and telling stories at his funeral. In short, while it's good to be reasonable about one's situation, there's an unpleasant fatalism that comes with Bennett's mindset and he's not someone who does much concrete planning for his future.
